Acuharmonic Sound Vibration Therapy

  • Acuharmonic Sound Vibration Therapy is profoundly
relaxing for the body and mind.  It frequently induces a state similar to a deep
meditation.  It is an excellent alternative to acupuncture for needle sensitive or
    needle phobic patients.

  • In an Acuharmonic Sound Vibration Therapy  session
vibrating tuning forks are placed on acupuncture points or around the body
achieving many of the benefits of an acupuncture treatment as well as those
unique to sound vibration therapy.  Our bodies are over 60% water  which is an
excellent medium for sound vibrations to travel.  Sound waves travel 15 times
faster through water than air.  Blood is 92%  water, the brain and muscles are
75% water, and bones are about 22% water.  In addition our bones act like
resonating chambers for sound vibrations. Every cell in our body is already
vibrating.  Tissues are comprised of cells and our organs are comprised of
tissue.  The tissues and organs vibrate at different frequencies as they have
different densities, more or less fluid, and some have chambers while others do
not.  As sound vibration travels in our bodies it reaches deeply promoting
relaxation, harmony and healing.  Using different frequencies of sound affects
the meridians (channels which acupuncture points are located) differently as
well as the organs with which they are associated, and energy centers (chakras).

  • Acuharmonic Sound Vibration Therapy  helps to
quiet the sympathetic (fight or flight) nervous system while activating the
parasympathetic nervous system.  It calms and focuses the mind, relaxes the
muscles and respiratory diaphragm,  improves digestion and sleep, stimulates
the release of endorphins similar to acupuncture, assists the proper flow of qi
through the meridians (energetic channels) and balances the energy centers
(chakras). Thus it is a valuable healing modality for stress-related or stress
    exacerbated conditions and illnesses.

My Own Testamonial
As many of my patients know I had
been having a problem with my left
hand and wrist for 4 months.  I was
    diagnosed with tenosynovitis of
    the E.C.U.  (Extensor Carpi Ulnaris)
    and saw an Occupational Therapist
    for a wrist stabilizing support.
    Then I started receiving
    acupuncture and some electrical
    stimulation treatments as well.
This all helped a lot, but during the
    period between treatments I had
to use my wrist at work without the
    support...and the pain would begin
    again although not as severely.
Although I was improving I wanted
to be pain free.   I thought I'd try
    sound vibration healing with
tuning forks to see if it could help
me.  YES!  it did help.  Every time I
felt pain after using my hand and
wrist I applied the tuning fork and
    the pain would dissipate almost
    immediately.  I found this quite
wonderful.  And it began to last...
so that when I used my wrist and
hand it would not hurt or hurt very
little.  And often I felt the
vibrations deep in my torso even
though I was applying the tuning
fork to my wrist, hand and arm.
Now my wrist and hand are almost
100% better. I've even returned to
    my volunteer gardening work in
Central Park. I thought I might not
ever be able to garden again.

Healing and Sound Theory--Click the Title

Sound healing is ancient, but it
may very well be the cutting edge
of modern healing techniques.
A recent study is considered a
breakthrough for Alzheimer's
Disease:  "Alzheimer's:  new
ultrasound technique 'restores
memory' in mice"
http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/290801.php
Ultrasound of course is very high frequency.  Most of the frequencies used in
sound vibration therapy with tuning forks are in the mid-low range which
science has shown to be helpful for muscles, joints and bones.
