Mei Zen means "Beautiful Person"

The Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture SystemTM  utilizes an ancient needling
technique that is very superficial.  The needling brings increased Qi and blood to
the face and can improve or increase the production of collagen and elastin.  Since
this system is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Mei Zen treatment also
includes acupuncture point selections on the body to complete the balancing of
energy.  This results in an overall rejuvenating effect of body, mind and spirit.

Some of the reported benefits of Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture are:

  • Improvement in the fine lines of the face and a diminishing effect on deeper
    wrinkles.
  • Moisturized softer skin and a  more even skin tone.
  • Reduction in puffiness.
  • Improved muscle tone and a firmer jaw line, as well as reduction in the
    beginning of jowls.
  • Reduction or elimination of rosacea and acne.
  • Better sleep
  • Reduction in severity or occurrence of hot flashes
  • Symptoms of Depression &  Mild Anxiety
  • Digestive Symptoms

    FAQs

    How many treatments are required?

The number of treatments for best effects can vary but the number of treatments for
a healthy person is usually 11.  The first treatment is an energy balancing treatment
for your full body without the Mei Zen face or neck protocol.  After that you will be
scheduled twice a week for five consecutive weeks for the Mei Zen Cosmetic
Acupuncture SystemTM protocol for your face or neck; and, body points will be
included.  A consultation is required before any treatment can begin---and the
    consultation is free!

How long will the results last?

Results can last 3-5 years with regular maintenance of once-a-month follow-up
treatments.  Once every other month is good, but once a month is better.  Twice in
one week every 6 months is the minimum possible for maintaining the effects of the
Mei Zen.  The less frequent the follow-up treatments the less time the results may
last.    Keeping a diet that supports your skin's health, wearing sunscreen and
following a good skin care regimen with quality products appropriate for your skin
type can also assist in maintaining the results of your Mei Zen
    treatments.

How much does Mei Zen cost?

Initial treatment: $225.  Additional treatments $195 per treatment.  Fee may change
without notice on this website.  Please call for current fees.
